Famous Wildlife Movies is the latest apparition of Mike Smith's imagined interstices between folk music, progressive rock, jazz, and minimalism. Acting as something of a reset button on his now-expired Muskox project, this ensemble will attempt to find yet more ways to have the music write itself. Featuring Jeremy Strachan & Jay Hay on woodwinds, Pete Johnston: on double bass, Ali Berkok on clavinet, and Mike Smith on acoustic guitar and compositions.
