DJ RON WOLF, CEO

Wolfgang Nessel has been playing DJ/Selector since the early oughts, working alongside bands at many underground shows and house parties over the years. He debuted as part of Wavelength's show for Exhaust & Hanged Up in 2001 at Ted's Wrecking Yard!

Eventually he started curating dance parties starting with Goin' Steady at the Boat (2004-2006) alongside Lou Calabro & Matt Cully. Another party, the Heart of Toronto series (all toronto music) was held Double Double Land in 2015 and so was the somewhat infrequent Dress 2 Sweat Club (daytime open dj and dance session) which now continues at the Tranzac. He also organized a massive psych rock, folk, noise, improvisation, jazz, etc. festival at the Tranzac in 2006 with Matt 'Doc' Dunn called 'Bummer in the Summer' (headlined by Oneida, MV&EE, Deep Dark United, Polmo Polpo, Eric Chenaux, Timber Timbre. Bruce Peninsula, Muskox, etc).

Wolfgang ran the short lived digital label, Floating.Thru.Life, with Cerebral Itch and Ach Du Liebe (a very limited tape label) before co-creating Healing Power Records with Vic Cheong in 2010. HPR started as a monthly live jam series in the Tiki Room at Tranzac in 2009.

Now it's all come full circle and he is the bar manager and Southern Cross booker at the 'Zac! Has also made moves & grooves in the past with the Deeep (Isla Craig), HVYWTR (solo & duo with Vic Cheong), Blood Honey, Singer/Songwriter (Jonathan Adjemian), Ninja High School, and gets into improvisational one offs from time to time.
