Matt Smith is a Toronto-based maker of things. Of these things, the musical things vary greatly in texture and approach. These are musical things of beauty, and horror. They may make you sleepy and they might make dance. They will tug on and twist expectations. Along with his alternate personality Prince Nifty, Smith makes music for theatre and film, bars and clubs, headphones and all things between. He also producers and engineers recordings and is a long-time collaborator and current band member with Owen Pallett.
